Academic integrity

In accordance with the requirements of Law of Ukraine No. 848-VIII “On scientific and scientific-technical activities” of 26 November 2015, Law of Ukraine No. 1556-VII “On Higher Education” of 01 July 2014, Law of Ukraine No. 3792-12 “On copyright and related rights” of 05 December 2012, Civil Code of Ukraine No. 435-IV of 16 January 2003, in order to improve the quality of scientific activity and ensure an effective system of preventing academic plagiarism in scientific works, academic integrity is a priority for the staff of the Scientific Institute of Public Law.

The system of preventing and detecting academic plagiarism is an integral part of the system of internal quality assurance of the Institute’s scientific activities and includes the following measures:

  • Dissemination of the idea of rejection of academic plagiarism
  • Creation of conditions that make academic plagiarism impossible
  • Checking all scientific works for the absence of academic plagiarism
  • Disciplinary liability for academic plagiarism
