The Scientific Institute has a Specialised Academic Council D 26.503.01 with the right to carry out defence of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Science in the specialty 12.00.07 – Administrative Law and Procedure; Financial Law; Information Law (Legal Sciences).

Specialised Academic Council D 26.503.01 is approved by Order No. 320 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 07 April 2022 and is composed of 19 members.

The Specialised Academic Council is chaired by Doctor of Juridical Science, Professor Lesia MYSKIV.

The Academic Secretary of the Specialised Academic Council is Doctor of Juridical Science, Professor Kseniia Kurkova.

The Council is composed of leading scientists from both the Scientific Institute and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, National Academy of Internal Affairs, and Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University.
